README.XPM
=======================================================================

These are the coloured XPitMap files, converted and modified with
the iconeditor "IconEdit" (part of the OpenWindows DeskSet. pro).
They are all in the 32x32 pixels format.
Note: You can not change the colours with iconedit if you have a
      monochrome display.

The original source for the new files are taken from the original
Knuth's Icons (only in B/W) for the OpenWindows System, to be
found in KNUTHICO:

cweb-ch.xpm light yellow-green
cweb-s.xpm soft green
dvi.xpm brown
gf.xpm soft green
latex-s.xpm soft blue
mf-s.xpm soft green
pk.xpm soft green, yellow-green
sm-mf-m.xpm green
sm-mf.xpm green
sm-tex-m.xpm brown
sm-tex.xpm brown
tex-s.xpm blue
tfm-m.xpm blue, red
tfm.xpm blue, red
vf.xpm light red

There is also a file containing a palette of all the colours that
the iconeditor provides. If you want to change the colour of the icons
but you don't have the possibility to change the colours (i.e. monochrome
display) you can substitute the header of each PixMap file (*.xpm) with the
colours itemized in "palette.xpm". Use a normal ASCII editor.
